On June 4, 2025, the regional office of the UN Global Compact was officially registered in Central Asia, marking the creation of a new platform for responsible business at the regional level.
The first General Assembly took place on August 27. During the meeting, the results of the past three years of work were summarized, and priority areas for sustainable development in the region were defined. During the event, the first Board of Directors was elected.
Among them is the founder of the AITAS holding and the Sustainable Rural Development Fund - Serik Tolukpayev. This decision reflects the recognition of Kazakhstan's initiatives not only at the regional level but also on a global scale.
The new board also includes reputable representatives from major financial institutions, international companies, and public organizations. Among them are:
